My Student Life Drawings 1979 - 1982

Should anyone be interested I recently published a small book entitled, "My Student Life Drawings 1979 - 1982"

As I grow older I find that it's important that I save/archive/share my efforts to become an artist. Some time back, while going through my old drawings, I discovered a number of my student life drawings. Most were done on student grade paper, newsprint and the like for which time shows no pity. Many are becoming faded, and will no doubt not last more than another decade, or so. It's important that students keep their drawings, no matter how bad they may seem at the time, treating them as necessary steps in the quest to become an artist. I wish that I had kept more of my drawings. At the time I didn't consider them important and trashed most, with the best being kept for grading purposes by my instructors never finding their way back home.

The entire book can be reviewed at Blurb.ca using this link:-

It's been awhile since I picked up a brush or pencil and made a drawing or two. I keep promising myself to stop writing for awhile and to get back to sketching and painting. Unfortunately, I seem to be hooked on writing books and poetry. I have two large books on the go that I hope to finish at some time in the next few months. The other day, however, I forced myself to do a bit of doodling that turned into a drawing......
