THERE'S A STILLNESS IN THE WOODS

There’s a stillness in the woods these days.

The leaves on the trees,

once green,

Are now hues of yellow and red.

And the ground is littered with those that have fallen,

And are patiently waiting,

For the cold wind that is coming.
